3.      Winter Timetable 2003/2004

Craignure – Oban:

Request for an additional 10.00 am sailing from Oban on Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays.

Advise that there are omissions and errors relating to train connections to and from Queen Street.

Fishnish – Lochaline:

The members were pleased to note that the 1745 “bookable” sailing from Lochaline has proved to be successful.

Suggest adjustment of 5 minutes on certain sailings to give better co-ordination with bus connections, per Bill Pollock’s notes, previously circulated to  members.

Request two Sunday sailings departing Lochaline at 1000 and 1400 hours.

Fionnphort – Iona:

Existing code A should be extended to read “Will await bus from Craignure due at 1810, if so requested.”

Tobermory – Ardnamurchan:

Contrary to what is stated in the draft timetable this service is to change from that of 2002/2003.

Request additional sailings to what are proposed.  Request a vehicle carrying ferry over the winter.A vessel is available and four local crewmembers are on the permanent establishment of Cal Mac.

It was agreed that Mr Pollock’s passenger “advice notes” on bus connections should be recommended for inclusion in the final timetable.

Request, yet again, that the winter timetable commence at the end of October.

The members agreed the following be included in the agenda for the meeting with Mr Fox, this in addition to the issues already identified in previous correspondence to him:
