MATTERS ARISING: |
Caravans/Travellers. Sandy has contacted
Councillor MacDougal and is awaiting a reply. John suggested contacting the
Council Offices in Tobermory to check thatit was the Council that placed the
boulders. Sandy will contact the Councillor again.
Marine Park Questionnaire: Georgia hasn’t
circulated our questionnaire. The deadline for responses to the
consultation is tomorrow. John had written a proposal for the Chamber’s
response - this was read by all present then edited for a final draft to be
submitted in time for the deadline. <John>
will email final draft for distribution to
members.
Transport Strategy. The Council will hold
a consultation Day 23rd January 11.30 – 6.30

AGM |

will liase this week to complete the accounts.
Suggested
dates for AGM & Annual Dinner 16th/17th March

will ask board member Jo Currie if she will take on the organising of the
dinner and will email Gordon Buchanan about being guest speaker.
Suggestions
needed for new board members as Tom and John will be standing down at the
next AGM. |

AOCB: |
Alan declared
that the Chamber should think about rejoining with Holiday Mull as the
topics discussed at board meetings were identical. Georgia suggested that
board members should consider a list of reasons for and against such a
decision for discussion at the next meeting.
John has
updated our web entry for the Travel Expo which will take place this year on
18th/19th April in Edinburgh. New photos are needed
to refresh the display. It was agreed that £100 would be used to do this.
