MATTERS ARISING: |
Letter to Harbour Committee completed.
Still to do – newspaper cuttings for website.

TRAVEL EXPO: |
John gave his report of the Expo. 40 new contacts made.
The stands at next year’s Expo will not be arranged in ‘streets’ for
specific areas of Scotland as it has been in previous shows. With this in
mind, a provisional booking has been made for two stands (with Duart).
Sandy thanked John for all his work. John is preparing press article
for P&J, R&A and Am Muileach.

MARINE PARK: |
No further forward really. 5 areas declared on a shortlist. The
[probable] pros and cons of being a Marine Park were discussed.

Georgia had received a report from Scott Wilson Scotland Ltd about
upgrading the remaining stretch of the Salen/Tob road. The suggestions made
were to request minimum disruption and ask how a bottleneck would be avoided
in Salen and how traffic speed through Salen would be controlled.

Georgia has visited the distillery four
times to pick up the remainder of the Chamber’s paperwork, as requested, but
it is never available.
