Windsave |
The
Windsave meeting was well attended by approx 45 people from all over the
island. <Derek>

newspaper.

HGV weight restrictions |
Still ongoing,
John hasn’t heard back from councillor or Glasgow Chamber.

Tourism |
VisitScotland
still in disarray. Topic will be raised with MSP at annual dinner.

Chip & PIN |
It is not
known if changes to credit card tariffs will be made for businesses that
have Tourist Board Member rates.

ANNUAL DINNER & AGM: |
Venue (Druimnacroish
Hotel) booked for Sat 19th March. Speaker (Eleanor Scott, Green
Party MSP) booking confirmed. Bookings for the dinner must be made with
John by this coming Friday. Derek, Pat & Georgia are due to stand down from
the board.

TRAVEL SHOW |
John will
represent the Chamber at the 2005 Travel Expo. He has written a piece for
the Travel Expo website.
There
has been no response from members about providing leaflets for distribution
at the event, <Georgia>
will email members again.

received a disk of photos from a now regular contributor to the site.

Tom couldn’t
give a report due to his books still being with the auditor.
