Minutes of the meeting held on the 6th OCTOBER 2003 At the CRAIGNURE HALL

PRESENT : Alan Mc Comochie, Tom Bettley, Sandy Brunton, Michael Ackerley.

APOLOGIES : Olive Brown, G O'Neill, Derek Crook, John Cable.

Minutes of the previous meeting not available due to Jo's absence.

MATTERS ARISING: TRAVEL FAIR - <ALAN> will organise a meeting with Holiday Mull and others. One idea was to have a CD ROM about Mull & Iona tourism for distribution. DRIVING ON MULL INITIATIVE - Sandy, Alan and Michael have been invited to a dinner with the CalMac. board and will take the opportunity to raise issues including distribution of leaflets to cars travelling to Mull advising drivers of the differences when driving on Island roads. Other items to be raised include peak fares, timetable changeover, communications and customer focus - or lack of. <ALAN> will speak to Jo re the short sea crossing.

PRESIDENT : Sandy reported on the Transport Conference held in Craignure. This conference was instigated by John Hunter and the HIE. Sandy ran through the speakers and guests and his own presentation Sandy hopes to attend the next Inseuleur meeting in Corsica.

WEBSITE - No report in Georgia's absence.

TREASURER - Tom reported a balance of £3942.63.

SECRETARY - Alan reported on the Balamory meeting held in Tobermory.
